Argentina legend Diego Maradona is to have “routine surgical procedure” on a blood clot on his mind, his physician mentioned.

The 1986 World Cup winner, 60, was admitted to Ipensa clinic in Buenos Aires on Monday, affected by anaemia and dehydration.

Leopoldo Luque, Maradona’s private doctor, mentioned the surgical procedure would happen afterward Tuesday.
